Our Apartment

I was actually expecting to be living in a smaller place than this, so I am pretty happy with what we have. I immediately began seeing the differences in their culture compared to ours, such as no garbage disposal, no dishwasher, no microwave, a smaller oven, a smaller fridge, a smaller everything really. I love it. It is such a necessities based culture, they only use what they need, sure its cold in the apartment at night, but you just put on a flannel. Above our some photos of our apartment.

Ciao Firenze

I have arrived in Florence and am loving every minute of it. Above is the view from my kitchen window.It is wonderful, we live right across from Mercato Centrale, which is the town centers farmers market open everyday 730 -2. So far I have gone there every other day to buy fresh food.
